It does this by automatically synchronizing your clock to the official time kept by the NIST - National Institute of Standards and Technology

The Save! software monitors each URLs associated with web pages visited, search terms and web page contents, and send them to its controlling server to retrieve targeted advertisments.

How to remove ClockSync - Uninstall ClockSync Instructions

Open Task Manager (by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL) .
From processes list, select and terminate the processe clocksyncinst.exe.
Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' to open the Regsitry Editor.
Navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run

In the right pane, delete the value named 'ClockSync', if it exists.
Navigate to the following registry key:

'HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run

In the right pane, delete the value named 'ClockSync', if it exists.
Navigate to and delete the following registry keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINEsoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionuninstallclocksync
Close Registry Editor.
Use Windows Explorer to open the Program Files directory (by default, this is C:Program?Files ), delete the folder ClockSyncand all the files within it.
